Yvonne Elvin

British artist who has exhibited throughout the UK for many years and has recently made her home in Alcoi (Alicante), Spain.

Yvonne feels committed to nature, through artistic practice she gets close to wildlife. She is a lifelong birdwatcher and plant enthusiast, activities that have taken her far and wide and have provided her with much inspiration.

Increasingly concerned about the impact of human activity on nature and landscapes, she tries to convey through her work the love she feels for the environment and the threats it faces. The techniques she uses are drawing, oil and acrylic painting, collage, and printmaking.
