Xavier Ceerre

Xavi Ceerre is a visual artist born in Alcoi, Alicante. Currently, he lives and works in Barcelona.


His artwork focuses mainly on paint, although he explores and complements his work with other artistic languages such as programming, musical composition, animation, and sculpture.


He has completed a Master's Program in Painting at the Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea (University of the Basque Country) in Bilbao.


He has exhibited his work in Valencia, Bilbao, Barcelona or London, in various art galleries and art fairs: Juan Manuel Lumbreras Gallery in Bilbao, Mart Fira d’Art Contemporani in Castellón, Piramidón Centre D'Art Contemporani in Barcelona, Espronceda Barcelona, Mutu Centre d’Art, Hangar Barcelona, Tecla Sala and the Espai 13 of the “Fundació Miró” in the Catalan capital.


Nationally, he has also participated in renowned art festivals: MIRA Digital Arts Festival Barcelona, LOOM Festival Barcelona, Ús Barcelona, Urban Skills (Alcoi), and Ex Abrupto (Tarragona).


He was a resident artist at Bilbaoarte, Piramidón Centre D'Art Contemporani de Barcelona, Fabra i Coats (Barcelona) and Nautilus, in Lanzarote, Canarian Islands.
His paintings and commissioned artwork form part of various public and private collections in Spain, Peru, Switzerland, England, the Netherlands, and the United States.


Among the commissioned large format, is the acquisition of a large painting (5 x 2m) by the Bacardi Company, which currently is exhibited in its headquarters in Spain, located in the Plaza Cataluña, in Barcelona.
