Miguel Pons graduated from the La Escola d'Art i Superior de Disseny d'Alcoi. He started in the arts as a cartoonist, his childhood hobby of creating cartoons was later his introduction to  being published in different sections of the newspaper "Ciudad."

Further in his artistic career, he felt attracted to painting and addressed this new interest passionately. Even though it was a very absorbent commitment, he considers this dedication a worthy and wise choice.

Miguel Pons confesses his deep admiration for the great masters; therefore, he focuses on following the path to achieving the excellence he wants. That means that sometimes, it is necessary to sacrifice his revolutionary spirit in the search for mastering the technique.
