Juan Climent Miró

Juan Climent was born in Alcoi in 1973.
He attended the Municipal School of Fine Arts of Alcoi. He chose his formal studies to complement and expand his vocation as an artistic painter since he was fourteen.

He was associated with and has collaborated with the “Fiestas de Moros y Cristianos de Alcoi” (officially Declared Site of Cultural Interest) from when he was sixteen. These historical festivities of his hometown have inspired his passion for his work.

He has designed and participated in elaborate traditional costumes and displays for parades such as carriages, squads (escuadras), and ostentation (boatos),  in several other Spanish cities that celebrate these historical traditions.
Currently, he is a costume designer for those festivities.
