Jorge Sellés Domínguez is selected in the ANCA 2022 International Animation Festival of Slovakia
The Valencian Community will be represented by the Alcoy artist Jorge Sellés at the ANCA 2022 International Animation and Multimedia Festival in Slovakia. The artist has been selected in the special category of international animated experimental short film with an unpublished audiovisual piece.
The Anča International Animation Festival is unique because it is the only Slovak multimedia festival focused on animated films aimed primarily at a mature audience. The festival aims to raise awareness of animated cinema as an autonomous art form and to educate about its many types and aspects. Anča International Animation Festival is a specialized film festival organized by o.z. ANČA, registered office at Štefánikova 16, 811-04 Bratislava. Its aim is to contribute to the development and promotion of animation and the animated film industry.
The Anča Festival is much more than a four-day summer festival: throughout the year, the team strives to develop and support the Slovak animation and video game industry in which animation events and experimental multimedia screenings are constantly updated, via social media and website, offering many opportunities for Slovak and international animation communities to meet and network. Like Kino Fest Anča, animated film screenings and discussions with filmmakers are organized, and Best of Fest Anča distributes the festival's winning films.
