Jorge Sellés & José Cruzio selected at the FONLAD 2023 International Festival

The objective of the FONLAD International Festival of Digital Arts is to promote and foster artistic creation at the level of new media, with special emphasis on video art and performance, through presentations, exhibitions, online shows, installations, workshops, residences and performances.

For this next edition, the management and organizational team has had the audiovisual work of the international figures of José Cruzio and Jorge Sellés. A committed but safe bet and in accordance with the premises for the visibility and establishment of new promises and established creators in the current panorama of digital art and new media.

Artistic directors José Vieira and Sérgio Gomes put together the Digital Arts Online Festival as an event co-organized by the IC Zero Cultural Association and the Videolab project, which celebrates 18 years of existence in the art market. Its main objective is to promote the digital productions of artists who address new technologies in today's contemporary art.

The Festival is open to all national and international artists who work at the level of digital arts and new technologies; The Online Festival of Digital Arts will take place in physical and online spaces during the summer period from July 3 to 31, 2023 in the city of Coimbra (Portugal) with international projection in a display of video art works and also they will make video installations and performative acts in non-conventional places in the capital city itself.

International entities such as the Festivals of Digital Art and New Media PROYECTOR, IMAGE PLAY, MAGMART, FUSO, MIDEN and STRANGLOSCOPE will configure the official program of FONLAD, contributing renowned professional personalities from various locations and different artistic disciplines such as Hernando Urrutia, Isabel Pérez del Pulgar, Fran Orallo, Jean-Michel Rolland or Eva Dabara, among many others.
