Jorge Sellés at T-SHORT Animated Film Online Festival 2023

The artist Jorge Sellés has been selected to participate in the Bizarre/Experimental and Debut official competition categories of the T-SHORT Animated Film Online Festival 2023, opting for the best international original work of animated short film.

T-Short is the platform aimed exclusively at the international community of animation film professionals and fans whose project consists of three main sections: Film Gallery, Festival and Community.

During these last years, the entity has undergone significant changes in the nomenclature, the concept and the place of issuance. The old definition of the festival was BIMINI, after the short film of the same name by Latvian animation master Arnold Burov. The event openly showed works for the entire public, taking place in the city of Riga (Latvia).

The current conception of the event is a kind of play on words: T-Shirt is a well-known versatile garment together with the term Short, which in this field means short film. Similarly, the project logo emphasizes a haphazard title that is rendered as a movie in the form of a T-shirt.

Originally, the festival platform was created in Germany to exhibit audiovisual works through a virtual space that would allow the greatest reach and guarantee better visibility without restrictions for the international arena.

The 2023 edition of the festival has an international jury made up of leading professionals specializing in the animation film discipline led by Steven Subotnick (United States), Mira Yankova (Bulgaria), Georges Sifianos (France), Natalia Ryss (Russia and Israel) and Nicolas Fattouh (Lebanon).

> Event date: February 23 to March 12, 2023

> Viewing access: online platform with registration and ticket purchase on the festival's official website

> Availability of works: limited duration to the date of the event (maximum 3 reproductions per creation) and, subsequently, only with the permission of the copyright holder of the chosen audiovisual pieces
