Jorge Sellés at Feria ARCO IFEMA Madrid (MADATAC) 2023

The visual artist Jorge Sellés participates in the International Contemporary Art Fair of ARCO IFEMA Madrid. Under the support of the International Biennial of Audiovisual Digital Art and New Media MADATAC, the Spanish artist born in the city of Alcoy (Alicante) exhibits work together with the international artist José Cruzio in Hall 7B and Stand 30.

The experimental audiovisual creation PULSE, created for the occasion by the authors, is the result of an unprecedented collaboration in order to record the current situation that the art world is experiencing as a response to the paradigm of commitment and tool for progress and fate in the overall survival ratio. Human behavior is called into question about the suffrage of a planet that does not require the existence of a species that drifts to extinction.

From the respect for life itself as a present limited to a sigh, José Cruzio and Jorge Sellés invite us to reflect on our imprint in the memory of a transcendental event framed as a parallel universe to reality and a passage of hope and illusion of emptiness and act of faith of denial.

Iury Lech, international artist and art curator and director of the Biennial of Audiovisual Digital Art and New Media MADATAC, offers, with this proposal, redemption and awareness in the commitment and acquired responsibility of the humanistic disciplines with the outstanding selection in the representation of international renown such as Ryoji Ikeda, Hernando Urrutia, Antoine Schmitt and many other artistic creators antagonistic to selfishness and the vanity of the ineptitude of fraction and neighbor confrontation drawn in limits free of guilt and sin: UKRAINE “in the country”, “our country” or “native country”.
