Jorge belongs to that generation of self-made creators of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries whose work began in 1993 with urban art (graffiti, murals, and artistic interventions). His national and international professional career is on the rise, level of relevance, and it is more multidisciplinary.
Neo-expressionist and hyper-realistic painting, video art, sound art, and moving image art, digital photography are some of the languages he explores. In 1999, though, he returned to audiovisual art and its creative variants as a permanent means of experimental and conceptual expression.
Since 1999, he has been the forerunner of the creative and artistic discipline Loop&Screen; whose free Anglo-Saxon meaning is "loop/circuit" and "screen/plot" respectively. This concept derived and evolved from audiovisual art, gif art, and digital art. This type of art develops the creative processes within a constant post-production transition, where it is clear what is new, what it brings, and what it achieves. The changes in the post-production stage are based on the possibilities offered by digital aesthetics inviting us to reflect on the new post-digital era.
In the new era of hyper-light of indifference, short stories within the same main story that have, seemingly, a beginning and end, a committed character emphasize the experimental, critical and contemporary. Such character is grounded in an existentialist base that incorporates the absurd through singular, surreal, and imaginative compositions in their most primitive state, contradictory of reflection and meaningless.
The influence and dedication exercised during these last ten years in the world and the art market have earned him recognition and professional contribution for involvement in projects of artistic and cultural management and curation linked to the audiovisual, multimedia and the new digital means of expression and communication areas for public and private entities.
