
The Txoko Experience
Brand design and graphic applications for The Txoko Experience: The Secret Culinary Space of the Basques. A documentary film screened in the USA and on international Iberia flights, focusing on the uniqueness of the txokos and gastronomic societies of the Basque Country, as well as their products and avant-garde cuisine.
The identity was based on the etymological concept of the word "txoko", which in Basque means "corner" or "small place". In this way, the typographic title of the documentary was framed within this "space" that represented the txokos of Biscay or the societies of Gipuzkoa.
The film, presented in October 2017 at the San Sebastian Gastronomika International Congress and at the Culinary Institute of America in New York, features the participation of great Basque cuisine references such as Elena Arzak, Josean Alija, Aitor Arregi and Bittor Arginzoniz.
