San Fermín 2014 (Winning Poster)

The official poster for the Fiestas of San Fermín 2014 was an illustrative representation where the Saint stood out as the main character and axis of the San Fermin fiestas, with Ernest Hemingway, the writer who popularised the fiesta, a bagpipe player, a bull, the Kiliki Caravinagre and the bullfighter Juan José Padilla, much loved by the Pamplona fans. As a reason for differentiation, the corporate colours of the fiesta (red, white and black) were avoided as a background, opting instead for a sky blue, standing out in all kinds of applications and standing out against the white and red tide of the city between 6 and 14 July. The work, entitled Equipazo, was the winner from a total of 546 entries submitted to the competition. A popular jury chose the poster as one of the eight finalists, and it subsequently emerged as the winner thanks to 25% of the votes cast by citizens registered in Pamplona.
